Writing online, Gordon Exall recently drew attention to an EWCA decision: Laughton v Shalaby [2014] EWCA Civ 1450. That decision included discussion of whether evidence of incompetence / conduct issues in other cases should be admitted as evidence in a claim for clinical negligence.

Ultimately the evidence was not relevant or of little weight.
