Usual practice evidence

Tinnock v Murrumbidgee Local Health District (No 2) [2016] NSWSC 87 is an interlocutory ruling on the admissibility of evidence, from a medical practitioner, as to his usual practice of advising a patient proposing to undergo a hernia repair of the risks and complications commonly associated with the procedure.

The evidence was held admissible, in accordance with appellate and other precedent.
