Protected estate orders: Attainment of majority

The judgment in Re AAA; Report on a Protected Person’s Attainment of the Age of Majority [2016] NSWSC 805 explains procedures adopted by the Court as a means for protection of the welfare and interests of a young person suffering from a disability to such an extent that he or she is incapable of managing her own affairs, and is subject to orders for protection of person and property, upon transition from minority to adulthood on attaining the age of 18 years.
