De-identified patient data for research and public health purposes

The Department of Health (Commonwealth) is leading a project to establish a framework for secondary use of My Health Record System Data.  The Framework will provide a blueprint for the secondary use of patient level health information outside of direct healthcare provider service delivery including for analysis, research, quality and safety measurement, public health, performance management, policy and other business applications.

On Thursday 8th September, 2016 there will be a live national webinar that will present the Public Consultation Paper.
