Views on mandatory reporting of impaired health practitioners by their treating practitioners

Recently published in BMJ Open is a report by Bismark, Mathews, Morris, Thomas & Studdert on an Australian qualitative study: Views on mandatory reporting of impaired health practitioners by their treating practitioners.

This is the first qualitative study of Australia’s mandatory reporting laws, which (in most States) extend to health practitioners who provide clinical care to an impaired practitioner.
